A pretty matching two or three piece or a sexy basque / corset? Maybe your thinking shape-wear to hold you in? Consider your dress style, body shape and remember its a long day so a must is comfort.  Even if your dress has a built in corset there are still styles on the market that you could consider as not all basques / corsets have boning. A corset can take you down a dress size and should always be purchased before your dress fitting so your dress can be altered to it.

One of the hardest things to buy online is wedding lingerie take your time it may be worth a trip to a wedding lingerie specialist. Having beautiful lingerie in the correct size will make you look slimmer feel sexy and make you feel more confident! Make sure you get properly measured, most brides need their lingerie to be strapless so the back has to fit correct your wedding dress will probably be the most expensive dress you ever buy so its worth spending time on getting the correct size. If your lingerie has straps have the fitting with the straps on and remove them once you are fitted. Your cup will then sit higher which will make your waist look slimmer. Go with what you normally wear when it comes to thong or brief.

Hold ups stockings? Consider the time of year as they can be hot in the summer and you may need the warmth in the winter,  Are you wearing peep toe shoes then this should be taken into consideration as well. Your garter should be warn just above the knee suppliers do not tend to size them so make sure it fits and doesn’t slip down!

Most photographers will photo you having your make up / hair done consider buying an ivory wedding robe to wear over your lingerie this can double up as a great addition for your honeymoon wardrobe.. There are some great “just married” ones on the market”
